My Story

I didn’t start out as a handyman. My background was actually in marketing and website creation. But life has a way of rewriting your plans.

After a difficult split with my ex-husband and a nightmare with renters who left one of my properties completely destroyed, I was staring at nearly $30,000 worth of damage. Contractors quoted me close to $60,000 to restore it — money I didn’t have.

So I rolled up my sleeves, picked up the tools, and started learning. What began out of necessity quickly became a passion. In just three months, I repaired and transformed that home myself for $10,000. Along the way, I discovered something I hadn’t expected: I loved the process. I loved seeing outdated, broken, and neglected spaces come back to life.

That’s how Handyman in Heels was born.

Today, I bring the same creativity I once used in marketing and web design into affordable home improvements that make a big impact — from cabinet painting and railing transformations to epoxy countertops, feature walls, storage rebuilds, and full room makeovers. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, but I also know the pride that comes with seeing a space transformed and livable again.

Whether you’re a homeowner preparing to sell, a landlord needing move-out restoration, or someone who simply wants to fall back in love with their home, my mission is to provide professional-quality results at a fraction of the cost of traditional contractors.

Handyman in Heels isn’t just about fixing homes — it’s about resilience, creativity, and proving that with the right vision, no space is beyond saving.

At Handyman in Heels, we understand the importance of feeling comfortable and safe in your own home. That's why we go above and beyond to provide top-notch service, reliable solutions, and a hassle-free experience for every project we undertake.
